My M&* downpipe and Carsound cat came in today...

I will have it installed later this week. I'll let you know how it went.

The sound shouldn't be much difference. It will make quite a difference performance wise though, the GPs have a very restrictive flex coupling as well as the u-bend after the cat for the rear O2 sensor. By removing those 2 items you'll gain quite a bit, add to that the cat (which one the 94009?) and you'll be all set

Cheers,

Keep an eye a couple times a year on the heatshield of the cat. Mine started seperating and had to be welded back on. Otherwise, great setup! Mine had a slight sound difference, but not much.

This will get rid of the U-bend. That'* what is so great about it. It takes away everything restrictive for the exhaust.

Looks nice and shiny. Are you doing the install yourself?

My dad who is a mechanic will help me out. He owns a repair shop, so he has access to the hydraulic lifts and all the air tools. The installation should be simple.

and as for the pulley ... I really want to get one, but I might end up waiting until springtime, since I go back to school next week.
