Default Interior Colours and questions

I am desperatly trying to find a tan seat cover or entire seat because mine is completely torn.

Is the 96-99 tan color different from 92-95? Are 92-99 seats all interchangeable?
Are the seats with the controls on the center console called the 9-way power seats?
Are the driver and passenger front seats interchangeable?

The best thing I found locally was listed as beige. That isn't the same as tan is it?

Thanks..

92-95 is Tan its darker than the Tan that is in the 96-99 Gens....and there was a 98-99 color that was called camel that almost looks like the 92-95 tan

all 93-99 seats are interchangable....some of the 92 seats have a different controll module that wont work with the 93 up wiring

the seats that have the controlls in the center console are called the AL7'* or the 9 ways

driver and passenger seats are NOT interchangable BUT you can swap the leather COVERS and cusions from driver or passenger for the back of the seat only. the Bottoms are interchangable but you need to get around the seat belt loop if you plan this project

and your not the only one looking for a 96-99 Tan seat cover

I may be want one if the price is right. I will have to figure out the fancy name for the color of the 98. Only need the bottom leather piece. BLACK94SSEi gets first call though

What are you smoking? Tony didn't ask for a seat cover in this thread.

In 98 the dark tan is Camel.. the light tan is tan.

I really thought there were more tan 96-99'* around, but I can't find one. I have found about every other color. At the wrecker the other day I found the strangest bonne. It was a 96+ SSE, light blue, HUD, but NO DIC or compass. It had the 9-way power but it had these ugly greenish seats.

I guess I will call up every wrecker tomorrow to see if I can find something. That is going to take a LONG time...

Oh, and one of my favorite wreckers just got a 88-91 white SSE that wasn't in an accident.

And a strange question: Has anyone ever tried to make a bonne seat into an office chair? I'm considering doing it.
