Default 94 bonne water temp

i replaced the radiator, upper and lower hoses, 195 t-stat, radiator cap and filled with a 50/50 mix of water and anti-freeze. the car runs at 200, cold or hot.
just wondering what temp you guys are running ?

The stock thermostat is rated for 195°F. GM engineers decided that was the perfect balance of power, fuel economy, and engine longevity.

I'm running a 180° T-stat and my temperature usually sits at 177° while cruising on the highway.

100 in michigan....who would of thought ?
when summer hits, we can have a run of over 90 days over 100, and over 110
more summers we see 115 and higher for a few days and then backs off down to 105-108

i did install a 180 today just for peace of mind, but i kept the 195, just in case..
thanks for the input....

Changing the thermostat to a 180* wont change the fan set point. That would need to be adjusted in your tune.
