L67 Gas Milleage
WOW!, I never knew the series 2 */C got such good gas milleage. So far i've been getting between 26- 31mpg with a mix of city and highway driving that is pretty hard. My 93' gets low 20'* much of the time. What do all the rest of the L67s on here get for milleage?

Yes Mods do help. If i'm going long distances i'll fillup with premium as Ol Blue eyez suggested in march, with an aftermarket induction system, it runs above 30 @ 70, and i can usually scrounge 35 or so.
Bill when do you ever go 70 (save a 45 zone)

Hmm, well with very few mods, I am getting 26-27 mpg on the highway, with 16-18 in the city. Guess I need to open up the exhaust some, and get a nicer intake.

Remember that the Series 1 has the POTENTIAL to deliver more efficiency. The hp and tq curvers peak much lower in the RPM range than the Series 2, but they should be close in MPG with equal mods.
