Just spent an hour under the hood.....
I found my front exhaust manifold has a big crack in it where the #5 tube connects to the main manifold pipe. This could very well be a reason why I've had trouble getting better #'* at the track, combined with the small cracks I've noticed on the rear mani.
Found two tranny lines leaking, with a fresh $1750 tranny attached to them. Luckily they are just the two short pieces of rubber that go around the radiator to the tranny cooler -will be putting new clamps on in the morning -definitely high pressure hose. Checked the tranny fluid level and it'* still reading full. (wipes forehead)
What else did I do? Checked fluid levels, checked/ cleaned plugs, and installed a new pcv valve.
