You get a good deal on it? Would love a L26 short block to build up.

Same thing I want to do. I would suggest a 3.8 or 3.7 pulley until you can start tuning or adding a cam or rockers.

My plans as of now... thrasher cam, valve springs and whatever to compliment the cam, headers, cat delete. Plus the usual, cai, 180 stat, plugs. Sound good? Any suggestions. I know to run a slightly larger pulley than a standard L67 because of the compression difference.

Sex, I think you should go with a 3.8" or smaller pulley. You're in Ohio, close to Intense Racing, and you've got a lot of good tuners around you. With a cam and heads plus headers and an intake to flow the extra air, you actually could go with a significantly smaller pulley. Not 2.6" or so, but still smaller.
