Just bought this Bonne from a friend of my brother. Does any one know why this thing has so many spark plugs?

I was just kidding about the plugs. It has the 4.6 north star V8. I think I would rather have a L67. I hear that these North stars can be expensive to repair when they get a bunch of miles on them. I doubt it is going to get 26 mpg either. I am a true believer in the 3800. You just can't beat them for durability, economy, power.
