Well, I have had the car for 3 years now and this is the first time I've been hit and fortunately NO damage!! Yay for me!!! The guy was so apologetic and I am in a good mood so it was all good. Then to top things off I went to the store with my son, 94SSEgold, and the clerk asked me if he was my brother I love when people are amazed that I have a son that is 21.

If I gambled I would play the lottery today

You are lucky. My sister got a tap from behind by someone and had neck trauma, which sometimes manifests itself a couple of days later.

Foam that sits between the fiberglass and the bumper cover. Keeps it in a nice shape, and popped out.

I have the white curse. In '95 my mom was backing up our '94 Buick Roadmaster wagon.. and she never looks where she was going in our driveway in FL. Then all the sudden SMACK! she hits the rear end of the Bonneville. 5mph crash, broke driver'* side taillight cover ****. And scratched the paint underneath it [that paint is peeling now.. bastards!] but other than that.. she got out of there well. To this day I make fun of her for that.

yeah my mom backed her Forester into the side of my old Lumina (white) and the insurance check cut for that put the downpayment on the Bonne ....LOL....then about 2 months ago she almost backed into my Regal, luckily earlier in the day I had moved it from where I normally park it at her house to a little further down the driveway, but she fessed up that she didnt even look behind her when she backed out untill she saw my Buick sitting further down the drive, and she said "oh sh*t I woulda hit that if it was parked where it shoulda been"

I am hoping that with my white one my curse goes away... I have a curse drving a black car... my 93 got damage 7 times (4 where I collected insurance) and my lumina has been hit 2 times. My regal was perfectly fine except for the licence plate bracket when I bumpered someone... but that was my fault... the rest weren't.

Goot to hear that your car is ok though SSE14U24ME

Heehee, I got a rear-ender story to top 'em all! I got rear-ended by a semi while I was driving my Dad'* old '87 F-250. Looked at the back end, not a scratch! Looked at the the Peterbilt, and the hitch that we use to discourage tailgating(massive, rusty, steering hitch with 3 balls), had punched a hole 6" across though his front bumper!!

Glad to hear the Bonnie is OK, gladder to hear you are OK.
