Default Normal for '99 SLE to take 40th Anniv. Edition GP?

Just wondering if this happens often. He pulled ahead of me slowly up to eighty, then pulled over into my lane, then I caught up and passed him..we both governed out at 109, but by that time I was a carlength ahead. Should I be proud of my bonnie..? I was surprised it could take a GP!

BTW...love the pic of your car! What lights do you have in the high beams? Blue?

Yep..blue. But if you're going to get blue lights, spend the 100 bucks on some good ones. Cheapos go out in about two months.

If he hit a limiter at the same speed you did, it was a GT. It is still kinda odd that you were pulling on them even with your weight disadvantage, but it doesn't suprise me. Are you modded at all?

But if you want to loose to a 40th Anniversary GP, let me know, I could probably set that up for you.

The GT'* and SE'* are lighter by about 400 pounds, but lack 5 hp and 5 ft/lbs of torque. This makes an SE or SLE fairly equal in pulling power. Your modded airbox may have given you the edge.
