Default 2002 gxp info. . . . . . .

ok my fiance has found a car that she truly thinks she has to have

2002 Bonneville GXP (and she picked it herself)

beautiful car, dark cherry color or cranberry would be the closest to what they call it on pontiac.com exterior, w/ gray interior, garage kept (BIG BONUS), 43thousand miles, i think that is all the importants anything else just ask.

so before any final decissions r made i need to make sure i can trust this car and check all problem areas first since she will be living approximately 10 hours from me until jan 2006, never had the opportunity to interact w/ gxps at all so not sure what they r like.

OF COURSE IT CAN BE TRUSTED IT IS A BONNE

thanks for all info

what a ****** joke this is!

see i have so much **** goin on in my life right now that tryin to find her a new car is probable the last thing i should be doin.

Ur right it isn't a gxp (understand that my family only has one bonneville in 2000 my parents enjoy the older models so we don't really keep up on the new info) but i was told while i was there that it was a gxp, i had asked out the door badges b/c i drove a 2004 in florida over spring break he told me that they were removed and were to be replaced.

well today is the first day that my fiance has really become obesessed about this car so i have just started my research to find this info out. I was smart enought to the vin # and when i searched that i found that is was a ssei.

i am pissed to say the lease b/c this post has just made me look like and *** to all of the members and we will not be purchasin the car from this gentlemen.

When i returned to make i corrections i had discovered that someone else had discovered my mistake first.

She does however really like the gxp that we drove in fl. so still if anyone has any info on these please send it my way incase she feels or finds an actually gxp

Go back to that dealership and tell the manager that his salesman tried to rip you off.
Think about the deal you could cut with that for leverage.

And don't worry, everyone that read your post here got pissed off at the dealer. None of us here are immature enough to be amused by his attempt to defraud you.

to keep everyone posted i have contacted the dealership and spoke to the owner, explained that i needed to meet w/ him concerning some issues (they were not appropriate to discuss on the phone) i expressed that it was goin to be a serious concern if it wasn't taken care of immediately. he remembered who my fiance and i were and what car we were lookin at, only ever addressed as bonneville, however to get to the point i have a meeting w/ him at 8:30am monday morning and this situation will be resolved.

who knows maybe i will get a really great deal on the car now
