Can you match a part number to the cars it fits?
I've got an acquaintance who'* trying to sell some apparently NOS dashboard switches on eBay, for cruise control and rear defogger. The only visible part numbers he can find on the things are 1247050,1247053,1246627 and 1235651. Is there any way to determine what car(*) those would apply to?

If it'* a GM car, it'* an old one from the 87-91 vintage. That sequence of numbers is that age. And all parts are invalid on GMpartsdirect, which backs up this theory. That'* all I can tell you from that info.

[edited for my lack of knowledge]. But those numbers are from an 87-91.. mine has those everywhere.. and they are worthless in identifying anything. The cruise switches.. those are column switches, right? and rear defogger.. hmm.. it must have been a non-CC'd car

lmao! those aren't from an 87-91.. that looks late 70s early 80s.. maybe older.. a brougham'r would know if it was from their gen.
Don't worry acg_ssei, Bill and I have been having a PM convo over this.. I already edited out my comment.. we are now looking back upon it, as a laughing matter, and probably for the next few weeks, we are going to see "VINTAGE" a lot in his posts .
