Killed
this isn't a kill by any means, but it was so much fun for the other guy that i have to tell it. LOL My friend finally got his chevelle back from getting a new rear end in it and we were out cruising in it and killing rice. after munching on a couple of civics and eclipses (that reved first, what were they thinking?) he wanted to see how he could do against my car. we knew that he would blow me away, but i figured i could hold on to his bumper for my first gear. when the light went green, i launched and was suprised cause he didn't. (he said later that he was giving me a headstart, but it sounded like he shifted it into neutral by mistake ) So i am about 3/4 thru the intersection when i hear his engine roar up and tires screaching. he caught me by the time i hit 40 and shifted into 2nd. as he past me he got a secound gear chirp and smoked the tires right in front of me. and then about a mile or so ahead of me (it seemed) he got a third gear chirp and also smoked the tires. i love his car and makes me want to get rid of my bonneville and get a chevy. now i know how most rice feel when we blow them outta the water. LOL can't wait till spring when me and him take it to the track to see what it runs.

Before my untimely accident i was planning on getting a 70 chevelle and build up a 454 engine. Make it an SS clone.
But becuase of having to get the new car and stuff that set me back a few months from purchasing it and starting on it (was planning on getting one in early summer) but the Bonneville will keep me going well until i get the 2nd car.
Will so did you loose against the M3?

I've said this before, and I'll say it again. I don't mind losing, I just don't like losing badly.
I saw a blur.
To be fair, he did get the jump on me. I didn't see him coming. It was bright yellow, and the plate said "BZZZZ".
