Default Inspection Day

Car is currenlty getting inspected. Dude is gonna let me pass with a broken headlamp, but I allready got one picked out at a junkyard that Im going to get today. I failed emissions though, or I should say at least that error code failed me. His diagnostic machine when hooked up to my car said "Not Ready" so now hes tatking it for a drive and seeing what it does. Its that P0401 code thats been giving me problems for a month now. At least its going to get fixed. I will have more details later.

Now why would you want to go and say a thing like that?
Just think of all the things that were 'ok' for you, but once emissions start that chip in the windshield, that slight exhaust leak, the low coolant light set because of a faulty sensor, are all going to have to be replaced for you to pass.

Emissions testing sucks!!!!! My parents always tested thier 89' Grand Marquis and failed every time and had to pay a big fine. Guess what? Emissions testing eneded in this state in 1997. At that point the Merc had 140K on it. We had 240K on it when we sold it. This was due to rust damage. It ran better that my 93' 88 when we sold it. Now my LSS thats a whole different comparo.
