Default Mopar Combustion Chamber Cleaner

I am a member on the K1500 site for my truck and they dang near swear by it. they say that it makes seafoam look really weak. Has anyone on here used it or know any more about it I asked the local parts store about it and all I got was blank stares and them telling me they didnt know what I was talking about. From what i have gleaned from the other sites is it is something you leave sit overnight in the motor then spin the motor over 180* then add another can and let the car sit for another 12 hrs or more then put the plugs back in and fire it up and let the car stumble and run till it runs right then blow out the stuff some said 5 miles minimum some said 20 then change the oil and the plugs. I am just seeing if anyone has more info since the stuff on the truck site was kinda sparodic and that is all i could piece together.

they say its foaming thats why its better so it will get up into the valves and whatnot, where the seafoam is a liquid. and you would have to ask at a chrysler dealer

An old trick I learned in the days of leaded gas to remove carbon build up in the combustion chamber;

Set the engine to run around 1500/2000 rpm then trickle WATER down the carburretor, I watched the foreman doing this at the first repair shop I worked in, the car popped and spluttered while he did this and lots of black particles came out of the exhaust.
After about 15 minutes he was through and gave the engine a tune up after which it ran like new. It completely cured the detonation/pinging problems the car had been brought in for.

I dont recommend such a drastic procedure for modern engines, particularly any with a catalytic converter, but I have done it several times on older cars with good results.

Roger.
