I must be weird 'cause that Caddy looks really old to me. I know the Bonneville isn't the youngest car but damn!

The Northstar is a great drivetrain. Very reliable and no problems. Id like it best in a STS Seville flavor.

The car you test drove probably had some issues with it if it behaved the way you said it did.

I have yet the pleasure to be given by driving one of the newer SSEi'* or the GXP'*. One day...one day...lol

And kinda off subject, some dude in a GP GTX spotted me and wanted me to play on the freeway, but I had other things to do. What the hell is a GP GTX, looked very similar to a GTP in body and stance, but instead of the horizontal wing we all know, it was flipped up, kinda like the monty'* rear deck wing. I saw it and was baffled??? :? Looked sharp, though, white, well taken care of.

naw northstars are plenty smooth.
Just the question of what kindof power you want. I just hope CVTs don't take over the industry. Some people LIKE shift shock!. But thats a whole nother thing. I say either keep looking or get the dealer to fix the problem before you buy.

N* are smooth, but no where as reliable as a 3800 and a nightmare to work on.
