Default Ignition switch replacement

I believe the ignition switch is bad on the '97 Camaro, I tore into it to test/replace it (pain in the a**!) I finally got it out, but it doesn't look like the replacements I've seen online. This one has a cable from the shifter(integral neutral safety switch?) going to the switch, and appears to be crimped on. Also, there is no little blue button thingy like the ones online. Is this an unusual one, or am I overlooking something obvious? Has anybody else seen/ changed this type?

Contact the dealer and see what the correct part number is based on your VIN.
