I want boost!
I'm thinking of getting rid of my 97 SE for a 96-99 SSEi. My stepdad has a Buick Park Avenue Ultra (L67) and for the boat it is, it'* pretty quick.
My question: How much can I nag a SSEi for with less than 70,000 miles?

Looks to pay around at least 5k for a reliable one. Have you thought about adding a turbo or supercharger to your SE allready? You could save money and would have a car that you are familiar with allready.

My worry is that adding an aftermarket turbo or supercharger to a NA engine will decrease the reliability.

Our engines are pretty tough, just keep the tranny happy and you should be fine, assuming the install and the rest of your vehicle is in top shape. Definately a project you research before you start throwing money around. Now, if you want all the stock gadgets a SSEi comes with, then just sell your SE now. Its not worth the electrical mess to add tons of toys for no reason.

Buy Caminated'* 2000 SSEi 13 second car in the For Sale section for $5500.
Otherwise I suggest the most economical and reliable method is to sell and trade up to an SSEi.
