Default Rear air vents

When the heat or A/C is on nothing comes out of the upper vents on the arm rest but on the lower ones by the carpet a small ammount of air comes out...any thing i should check and look for? other than that the vents up front work excellent.

I'm planning to do what one other member here did awhile back to his ducts there. I'm planning to install a 12 Volt Computer case fan into the existing duct, work it with a switch that I can turn on/off too. Unfortunately there is no other solution for this problem as it is a design flaw!

My cars previous owner actually disconnected the vent for the rear. It kinda sucks. I'd probably have to go to a junk yard to find a replacement.

I think the Pontiac engineer that designed that rear seat vent owned a vintage VW Bug! They work pretty much the same way--they don't!
