If you're meeting on October 4th, I'll have to miss that since my sister'* wedding is the same day, but just to toss out one suggestion for a place at Woodfield where you could meet: there'* a Goodyear tire/service place at the northern side of the mall, between the perimeter road of the mall and Golf Road passing by to the north of it. (Golf is an east-west road running across the top end of the mall site.) The parking lot around the Goodyear place is usually open enough that you can group all your cars together and wander around.

If you park any closer to the mall, such as on the mall side of the perimeter road, you might have problems getting all the cars together without some idiot in an SUV parking in between, and mall security may get a bit obnoxious about it.

For a place inside the mall to eat at: Head for John'* Garage. Noisy, plenty of seating for families (though there may be a waiting line during the lunch hour), all-American food, tons of real and fake automobilia on the walls, nice place to eat.

I'm new to the whole bonneville club thing. I live in Evanston,IL I singed up at the web site but i don't i'm in the club. I would like to be. On the note of meeting up at the mall I can do that and meet some of the guys. I have a pretty hot SSE but I took the rims off for the winter. But it'* tinted up, sounds, and it'* clean I would love to ride out with you guys so if someone can get back at me and let me know when and where I'LL be there. I have a couple of friends in Evanston with Bonnevilles.I told them about the web site and they told me to look into it. so I'm one guy with a lot of bonneville friends looking to meet more.
ltrain438.... talk to me.

Whoops, one correction here: it'* not a Goodyear place; it'* a Firestone place. I was out there yesterday and took another look around to make sure I wasn't give anybody bad directions.

If you all meet out there tomorrow, have fun and take lots of pictures...

"Wide Open Spaces"!! Western Kansas, particularly. That has GOT to be the most BORING drive on the planet!!! Between here and Denver there is NOTHING.

Is ssesc93 gonna be back in time?? Hope it works out for y'all. I envy ya. Wish I had members to meet with...*pout**pout*
