Not be a doomsayer, but....
Just hope it was repaired soon enough, not like mine. The coolant contamination caused the internals to slow disentigrate. About 6 months later, BOOM! New wngine and tranny.
Keep the oil good and clean, and you should be fine, tho....

so, if he were to have the post 1999 UIM, he would never have to worry about the UIM gasket again? is that what the redesign was all about?

we have heard of a couple of 00 Upper intakes fail... So anything goes..
