Yea sort of... I guess what I was trying to say was that if you used the cleaner the injectors would get dirty faster or worse then before. Thus you would have to continue to use it.
My friend told me this, he'* not a real gearhead by anymeans. But the statement in one school of thought could make sense. He had a Jeep, and he used the fuel injector cleaner once. It brought back some power to the Jeep. But then after a while he noticed that the power really dropped off, worse then before. So he used the cleaner again.... power restored. But after a while the power drop would occur again, slowly, but it was worse then before he had ever used the injector cleaner.
Anyways.... that was his story....
I just leave the fuel injector stuff and all that to my mechanic. If he recommends it, I do it.
