one of the dumbest things I found about a honda.. every bolt in a honda has its own p/n because only honda makes that bolt you have to order it from japan.. (or the closest warehouse) and when hondas mess up.. they mess up bad... AND a hondas all fine and good..untill they touch it/mess with it...
How many years did someone spend to make sure that everything on that car stock is the best for everthing, like the 13'' wheels.. there suposta be 13'' thats how the trannys geared its not disigned for 18'' wheels, neigher is the supsension, or the drive shafts.. its a puzzle and when you put in a piece from a differnt puzzle.. it doesnt fit (or look right)

13 inch wheels come on Hondas in the basest of base Civics... if you mod a DX Civic, something might be wrong with you... but then again, by 1996 for sure, 14 inch came standard.
Now then, once you put on 18" wheels, you have to do something to the suspension, unless you want all that stock wheel gap. Now once you have the big rims and the necessary modifications, you're fine
Rice is fun BUT this forum is about the Bonneville and personally I don’t talk about my Celica on this site for that reason.
Personally, I like imports. I like some domestics - not all, mind you. I like my Bonneviles about as much as I like my Toyota Chasers. I hate Cavaliers with a passion, for example :P
I am not a ricer. If I were to build up a '92 Accord, it'll all be in the engine... sleeper++
I personally would never build up a Bonneville, other than the most basic intake/exhaust mods... it just doesn't float my boat... the car I would like to build up most, however, would be what can be known as the four door Supra, aka the Toyota Cressida (and if any of you pay attention to Toyota'* Japanese-only models, it'* an American-market Chaser/Mark II/Cresta). Basically the luxury, size, comfort, and safety of the Bonneville, only with better reliability and the entire, huge Supra aftermarket behind it. I know from experience, there'* both a Cressida and a Bonneville in my driveway
But the thing is, I do notice a lot of fanboyism over here, and I also do notice a lot of pro-import fanboyism on import boards... I'm like one of the few guys who sees things down the centre... I'm neutral

I like imports, i however don't like rice. If you're gonna do an import, do a V6 accord, etc. Not a mild 4 banger. Or something that'* already sporty. An example would be SpoTT'* accord... A little for looks on the outside, some good, but not outragoues wheels, and some nice engine mods, and a burbly exhaust.

"Mild" four banger? Mild enough to school my Bonny any day of the week
