In a time not so long ago, in a place not so far away from this, I came across a deer in its death throws. There was a car a ways behind me and I started flashing my lights to warn them. It turned out to be the girl that had hit it a few minutes before and her dad brought her back to check on it. It died while we were standing there. Poor girl was crying. She was about my age, so I felt the need to console her in her time of need, but her dad was there

I've been in a similar situation. No girl, but a freshly hit deer. Had to put it out of it'* misery, and the only "weapon" available was a 4 D Cell flaslight (Mag Lite). Details will NOT foolow, you'll just have to imagine

way back when i bought a 86ish crappy *-10 (manual-single cab short box) to drive during winter (wouldnt dream of driving my 69) to school and back. I took it north to do a hot shot sorta deal (easy 300buxx-at the time i was like ) Well sence it was quicker I went through a native reserve, but that didnt work out because it was winter and dark, the heater in the *-10 only sorta worked. lol... anyway i came around a corner pushin it far out in 4th... with only crappy fog lights on as to try and not be noticed
....then I slammed hard on the brakes and swerved and hit a cow on my passanger side door area... I was doing 45mph at the time of impact... so I limpped away (after digging the cow out of my door with a shovel)
to the nearest town Police station, the cop that was on duty said that I should clean the blood off my truck and go to the insurance company in the morning and tell them some bs story because the cows can run free on reserves, and they dont like it when people hit them

Ever seen a deer get smacked by a Semi truck? I saw it happen once, let'* just say that the poor animal literally exploded. There wasnt too much left over for road kill.
