HUD Vs Analog Speedo
How does your HUD speedo info compare to your regular speedo? For me, my analog is dead on with the vehicle'* speed accurate and my HUD is always 2-3 mph higher than the analog. I verified this when driving by one of those signs that displays your speed (you know, so everyone in the neighborhood can see if you're speeding or not ).

I think mine is different than when I got the car, probably due in part to a tire change. Not really sure. I think the analog is a mechanical gear, and the HUD counts pulses?

Anyone have wiring diagrams for both speedo'*? IF they are both driven from the PCM there'* no reason they should be off. Just ticks me off when I see the HUD higher than the regular one. I like everything working 100% becasue I'm a stickler like that.

They pull speed from different wires, but You're basically not going to get them exact unless you redisgn the analog speedo to be lighter and have stronger magnets.
