ALMOST DONE
Well, my first goal when I bought my Bonneville back was to replace/repair all the main parts (drivetrain) that are known to be problematic for these cars. One thing left to do: the lower intake. Gonna do that this weekend. Here'* what I've done so far: (currently has 109k)
1) New upper intake manifold
2) New water pump
3) New radiator
4) Changed all fluids and filters
5) Aligned front suspension
6) New Goodyear Integrity 225/60/16 tires
7) New Cradle bushings
8.) New fuel Pump
9) New Platnum plugs
10) New Delco plug wires
11) New ignition coils (Delco) and ignition module
12) New oil sending unit
13) New Delco battery
14) New oil pan gasket
If anyone would like to suggest anything common to break that I missed, please do.
This list does not include exterior/interior repairs. I would have done the LIM'* when I did the upper manifold but I was on a time constraint.
After I do the LIM'* I think the only thing I'll need to do for a loooong while is change the oil. I will eventually change up to 1.8 or 1.9 rockers, and some headers.

Are you at least doing aluminum framed gaskets? I know you get it cheap, but I'd still be a little worried with the Dex, regardless of the interval, especially with a regular GM UIM.

I drilled and installed a new factory stat when I did the upper manifold, but if i can find one by Sat I'd like to install a 180.

For the future performance plans:
ZZP'* ER rocker ratio is best n/a and when choosing headers look for something with a 2.5" outlet. (*&* or possibly the new pacesetters)

The rockers are definatly gonna happen, and soon. I will eventually get headers. I like SLP'* but the price is steep. I was not impressed with the Power Log, but I know that'* a diffrent animal. I'd also like to get a tune done.
