Default Anyone ever buy keyless entry remotes?

Okay so the other day unfortunately when i was putting my keys in my pocket i kinda missed and they fell on the ground after that my remote has not worked since. I poped open the remote and one of the resistors came off the circuit board. I was going to try and fix it but as i was trying to the little tiny thing fell on the ground and I can't find it. So it sucks to be me lol. I was just wondering if anyone has ever used one of those websites were you can by a new one or used stock remote for your car because I am thinking about doing it I just want to double check that they are not BS

Thanks

I've bought them from Ebay before.

Now I just get them from local salvage yards when I pass through.

Try sending Billboost37 a PM...he'* our local parts guy here.

No need to pm.

Toss up the numbers on the back of your transmitter and everyone that has some should holler to you.

I was going to say the same thing. I guarantee Bill will give you the best deal. Last time I was at his house hey had a whole key shelf full of the fobs.

Actually, my car only came with 1 and my the time I got my car from Bill it had 2.

I'm looking for one too and I don't know if this creates a problem, but with an SSEi, there is a "1" or a "2" on the back of the fobs and when you unlock the doors, the seat automatically adjusts to the "1" or "2" memory position.
Do I need a fob marked with the number of the one I'm missing?
My numbers on my fob are:

GM/LEAR 25695955
FCCID: KOBLEAR1XT
CANADA 3521 102 1718

I have the "2" fob, and need the "1" fob.
If anyone has one, please give me a price to ship to Savannah, GA

you can e-mail me at: hal at mcindustries dot biz

Thanks,
