Default how much have u put in to ur bonnie

well i was thinking about how much i have put into my bonnie so far and i have it talied up to this

850 for the price of car
150 for the bumper
150 for the bumper reinforcment
75 for the tail light
40 for the trunk lid and gas door
800 for the body job
5 for the center console and arm rest

that is of right now ...there is going to be some more work done and i dont know what it needs for inspection yet

something else the body shop that is doing the work on there spear time(cheaper for me) anyways they say the body metal moves very easily ... when they had a put pressure on the inside of the trunk to push the fenders back out to line stuff up they put next to no pressure on it and it started to move....they told me the metal seems to be good but they dont know why it would move so easily ... shoyuld the body metal move so easily

the bodywork done so far are

front strut tower
engine hood
trunklid
both quater panels
gas tank door
rear bumper
rear bumper cover
passenger side tail light
rear strut mount

i do know it needs

muffler
4 summer tires
aftermarket rims need to be sanded and painted and pollsihed

so ...sofar i think its going well eh???

$800 for the car
A couple grand in engine mods (engine is from my old car though)
A couple grand for R&Ding my suspension and brakes
A couple grand for my BBS Super RS'
A couple grand for paint + me doing the headlights
Probably a G or 2 for misc stuff. (braided AN line to the tank, WB&tuning stuff, blah blah)

And that'* just what'* in/on the car..

I've got a spare engine, Abbott Racing heads/cam, pretty much every n/a bolt on, working on long tubes, lots of polished/painted parts, misc improvements, and I rebuilt my spare trans with the goods.

Total?

Wayy too much for most. But, for me, I can't put a price on getting/doing exactly what I want.

Well the cost of the car..which isn't what I have put INTO it, so that amount doesn't matter..
~$500 for Hid'*, Halos, Shift Kit, Tint, PEM, Exhaust, FWI
~Everything else appearance wise like Tinted Tails, HL, Fogs, Badging, Custom Engine Cover, Custom Wheels was only cost of time and products for me

Not bad so far...lots done to it, just not a ton spent yet...HP Tuners, Top Swap etc.. will definitely add to the bill though!

Hrmmm... Got me thinkin'

$1800 For the car <April '08>
$160 Radiator
$100 Master Cylinder
$80 Battery
Oil change at least once every 6 months
$300 Tires
$50 Plugs and Wires
A few other odds and ends.

It needs:
Struts, all around <especially the rear>
Front end work <could be endlinks, bushing, etc. Something is making noise>
Windshield <Leaks Water on the top>
O2 Sensor
I also need to track down why it is gutless when it is hot and chatters <Suspect Preignition><Could be Cat>
Also need to Find out how water is getting into the trunk. Suspect that is the taillights though.

For a 17 year old car, I think it is doing very well, and can still throw down with the best of them.
