I agree we need to protect the SLE'* but I think it'* the black ones we should be concerned with .
BTW, kinda off topic question: So, just kinda wondering, what years did they make the SLE packages, or do they still?

the SLE started in 1993. the 93-95 (although I've never seen a 95 SLE) SLE'* look no different than the SE'* although the 93 has the dual outlet exhaust.there were no badges put on the car That year there were 4 models SE SLE SSE and SSEi. In 1996 the body style changed and the SLE remained the same as the SE. in 98 the SLE recieved body cladding similar to the SSE and SSEi. This was the first time that GM baged the car "SLE". once again 4 models In 2000 the body style changed again and the SSE was gone replaced by the SLE
The 93-97 SLE is a SSE without the body cladding
the white ones (like mine) are more protected because of the Curse

Our 2000 SSEi has 95,000 and change on it. We bought it brand new in late August of 2000, and the 2001 models were already out at that time, so it has pretty high mileage for the year.
My '90 GP STE rolled over 100,000 today. It actually is sitting in the driveway right now and it hasn't rolled completely over yet. It is halfway in between 99,999 and 100,000 miles.
As for the other cars, the GTP has 23,000 on it. The other Turbo Grand Prix has 116,000 on it. The '93 Olds 88 has 119,500 on it. The '96 Beretta Z26 has 96,000 on it.

Shawn, I just noticed you have a 1993 Olds 88. mine has 106000mi. so i'm just wondering how yours runs like at 119000. if you have auto climate control hows that holding up, I dred the thought of ever having to replace that.
