How long do I have??!!
I am pretty sure I have bad wheel bearings. I used to have a slow steady thumping sound when I cranked the steering wheel, but now its more like a constant rubbing or humming sound. It'* hard to explain. But first, does that sound like bad bearings or struts? I was told 2 different things by the same shop.
Second, how soon should I get it fixed? I don't have any $$ now. I've had the problem for many months. How long do I have until I have bigger problems. If I go another month or two, will something else break/will my wheel(*) break off?! Or is that too severe?
Thanks. I just worry too much

GET THOSE BEARINGS FIXED IMMEDIATELY! if left unattended your wheels will just pop off while driving, it'* around 125 or so for each bearing, and that'* autozone! Pontiac here wants about 300 for each one! they'll also destroy ur axles and malfunction ur ABS systems! soon as U get some money get on that homie,

Hey..sounds like bearings...haha ask Murdock, Wood sounded like a world war II plan for a couple of months with bad back wheel bearings They are important to get fixed....if left they can seize up and cause drag on the wheel, and if left even longer you will strain other parts and possibly cause more damage.
I think I paid like $300 CDN for the 2 of mine.

Bad cv joints can cause some thumping, but not that second noise. Check your boots though just to be sure. and get it fixed so you don't send a wire-spoke flying!!! These damn things are too hot to do that. I like the ghetto gold on your car, but the silver is better on mine.

Mista, you freaked me out! I don't have $$ right now, so i'll see what I can do. My friend still owes me $321 and I can't do anthing about that to get him to pay me quicker if he doesn't have it. This guy has anger management problems and I don't feel like taking him to court. If I had that $$ I'd fix it now. I was told if it'* the bearings it would be around $400 parts and labor.
Lets hope my wheels don't fall off. :?

I Have a quiet squeek in the wheels when i drive (can only hear it with the windows down) when i put on the brakes you can hear a change. Also speed it changes. But theres no loud nose or thumping. You think thats bearings?
