Well today I decided to fill up and I was absolutely shocked at my mpg that i started cursing. Luckily my windows were up, however my mom was in the car...

Anyway, I registered a mpg of 16.97. I think it'* due to my repeated passing of other SLOW cars and admittedly jackrabbiting from lights but I really think my car is in serious need of a tune up and that will come in the spring. It'* too damn cold up here and the weather is freaky right now.

Im a 'normal' driver i rarely jackrabbit or drive like a maniac (but there are occasions...)

last four tanks averaged together: 14.2mpg (and that included one 300 mile drive at 70mph completely on cruise control... not one pass or decel during the entire 300 miles)

Im debating changing O2 even though stealership said it reads fine...

How badly would an old fuel filter hurt my milage?

Plugs and wires changed in the last 50k miles... maybe those wouldnt hurt either?

Whoo, that'* nasty. Maybe I should get a new O2 sensor and see if it helps, because nearly everyone reports about 30 mpg on the highway and I only got 25 mpg on the highway on CC. Interesting, interesting, interesting...
