I'll keep the crosslace, and possibly get another set and paint them Black with a Chrome lip

No offence but all I see in the SLE is for a person to make the car sound so much better or the factory just wanted to make a bunch of names that dont really mean any thing different except for the SE which looks the same as the SLE in earlier years but than becomes different in later years which is when the SSE SLE are practically the same as the SSEi but the SSEi has the supercharger which is avalible for all of the lower in some years so wats the point of all the names all supercharged ones except SE body should be called SSEi the non super charged cars with the SSE/SLE body should be one of them names and SE just be SE unless supercharged than it should be baddeged as a SE/SC... and wats so special about a SSEi when a person can go get a SSE/SC w/ more options, my car is a N/A SSE but yet it has more options than a lot of SSEi'* so WTF, all I see is stupidity from the makers w/ their choices of badging

...... <--- Here are some periods! Feel free to use them! LOL

I'm sure the driving force behind the various trim levels is to drive sales. A buyer always wants to think that they're getting just a little bit more than what they could have settled for.

Neither my SLE nor my SSEi say Bonneville anywhere on them from the factory. The only markings on the SSEi are the 3 "SSEi Supercharged" badges and a muted Pontiac impression vaguely visible on the rear bumper cover.

The SLE has only "Supercharged" badges on the doors, and the 98 "SLE Bonneville" badge that I added to the trunk. It also has the vague Pontiac on the rear bumper cover.

Doesn't a 92-95 SE/SLE say Bonneville on one of the bumper covers?

My 94 SLE (Marty'* ol' Blue Eyes) says Bonneville on the front bumper cover (in the license plate spot) and on the rear bumper (above the license plate). PONTIAC is on the trunk lid, towards the bottom.
