Winter is on its way
Yes I know its August..but..it doesnt help to get prepped...
I am going to be purchasing another car for winter, Damien must not see any snow or salt, its in FARRRR to good condition to see that crap..
Why is this in General Chat?
Well...
I'm looking at Bonnevilles ofcourse, a Second SSEi would be cool, but whats the point?
I saw one last night that NORMALLY would not peak a whole lot of intrest in me, however this one did.
APPEARS to be a 1987 or 1988, its a Bonneville LE, White, in EXCELLENT shape, Looks to have 100,000 miles on it, good tires, wire factory pontiac wheels, the Three gage insturment cluster, column shift, yea its bone stock, but thats fine, as long as the heat is good, and it runs well, im happy for winter..
Anything in particular i should watch for on this car if and when i take it for a drive? It should be the 3.8L LG3 engine i presume, alot like my old 86 Park Ave.
Interior is a dark navy blue, looks comfy as can be. Couldnt look at it further, owners are away until Saturday

Bah, dont need a scan tool, paperclips are far more efficent.
I would probably end up getting a set of cheap SSE wheels, an SSE grill, SSE tails..fin..insturment cluster from an SE (with all the gages minus the DIC and comapss)

Them were comfy, it would be easy enough to find an SSE loaded, and gut the interior for all the SSE goodies..like the first version of AL7s,....
it would do as it is though, id get some Nokian tires for it though

I got a idea for a winter beater, your manual bicycle. Cold yes, no heat yes, stupid idea yes but you get built legs out of the deal....
