Champion Plugs
Can someone tell my if CHampion Platinum plugs are ok in Bonnies ? I know I should get ACDelco Radidfire, but no-one around here has them

Would you recommend the ACDelco plugs over the others ? Is it worth me waiting for them ?
What about wires ? Any good recommendations ?

i put bosch plugs and wires in my 93 SSEi, now i find out there not such a good plug brand, the car doesnt idel well and it goes through gas like nothing......whats your guys'* opinion on that, could the bosch plugs be playing a major role in major fuel consumption?

Which car are you getting the plugs for. If it is for your Series II I would recommend the stock AC-Delco platinums or 1 range colder AC platinums. The rapid fires are not good for these plugs. AC-Delcos are very good plugs. That is what we have in the SSEi and GTP.

Delco is the same as most NGK'*, heck delco even makes them, supposedly they are identical to one of NGKs models. I have delcos and am happy with them. I also have taylor wires and stock ignition system.

.......and my bosch wires....are they fine for now if i decide to put new plugs in it?.....Ive only put 3000 miles on these plugs, they are now hazed dark brown all over.

today i changed the plugs to AC delcos, and the wires changed to Pro Spark. It idels better now yet in park when i rev it up to 2000 rpm it starts to miss and its a really loug banging noise that comes with it, then when i let go of the gas it makes another loud bang...backfire?? Its done this since i bought the car in may

it came on once 2 months ago, i unhooked the battery and it reset and the light hasnt come on since

Well, I changed my plugs, PCV valve, Air filter, oil filter and oil. Seems to be running smoother but still getting only 25 or 26Mpg. I was getting 30Mpg on average and it dropped suddenly. :?
Bruised and cut up my arm trying to get those rear plugs out ! I think they were original plugs and rusted in
The electrodes were almost gone !!
Anyway, I think I will change my Front O2 sensor next, and I just bought some plug wires. I'm gonna let my arm heal before I attempt a journey to the back of the engine again.
Can anyone think of anything else that I should change to restore my mileage ?
