Default HOLY HAWTNESS IN ITSELF!!!

Just came home from the MNCGP meet/mod day in Alexandria. Pam (ThatSilverGTX) had her GTX there with 17" Mille Miglia GXP rims -nice, but the extra inch would really help with the looks.
But on the way home is when I saw it -HOLY HAWTNESS IN ITSELF!!! A pearl white Bonneville GXP with chrome 18-19" aftermarket rims followed closely by a pearl white 2002-2003 SSEi. Dang!!! If I'd only remembered to bring the digi cam along.

Yeah, it is the chit. I would kill to have a 1996-1999 SSEi in that color with a cream/offwhite leather interior.
What year did they start using the Diamond White on the Bonneville? The SSEi was definitely pearl white, but it looked a little less so than the GXP.
Dang!!! I wish I'd have had the camera along.

Diamond started in 2004. My 03 is Ivory and that is the only white there was. Didn't want a Northstar, so I had to settle for an 03 and sacrifice not getting that color.

Yea 2004 GXP only, however, there is a major differences in the pain application from the 96+ Olds/Cadillac diamond white, to the present...the current one has so much more depth and appears almost yellow in direct sunlight.

Minor correction: The "White Gold Tri Coat" which is the actual name given to that color can be had on the SLE and GXP. Pontiac dealer in Lufkin TX had a SLE with it.. It was a beauty.. In the 2004 Bonneville Brochure, it says it'* a "premier edition" SLE only that got the White Gold Tri Coat as an option, so technically your right, but there are SLE'* out there with it.

It was pretty, though I could see a little "orange peel" across the hood up close. Since they charge you extra for this color, you would think it would have been near perfect.. But I still drooled a while.. I like my Ivory though.. It was a change from the Black 93 SSE we had..

Ah, um, not really. She'* a little too far gone for my taste'*. I'd rather have her car.

EDIT: Here'* the best pic of her car I can find -it'* not a beautiful pic as it'* from when her SLP hood latch gave out when she was driving down the freeway.
