Default Hmmm. Water Is Still Making Its Way in...

I went today to wash my Bonne after sitting being worked on for like a month and I went into my trunk to get my interior wipes and wheel cleaner I found....

My trunk was soaked. Water was on all my useless clothes that I used to protect Bonne from the lawn mowing. the ghetto mat was soaked. So I pulled it a bit on the edges and there was a bit of water. like not a whole lot but there was a few small puddles. But that is just the outside so when I eventually pull the whole mat off I might be in my worst surprise of my life. Now where did it come from? out of my stupidity it was where the satellite cord went into the trunk then through the car into my reciver. Now I took it off and moved it into the inside under the rear glass.

EDIT 1:

Shes all cleaned up now. towel and a couple rags to get all the water out. Although I found out the spare cover containing the RPO codes is gone. bummer. Mat is drying in and she'll be dry.

Heres a couple pics of my exposed inner *** :P

Looks like a "flat four" trailer lighting connector with a cover to keep the contacts clean. If the wires connect to the taillight wiring, that is probably what it is. If wired conventionally, brown would go to running lights, yellow to the left turn signal/brake, green to right turn signal/brake, and white to ground.

Get under the car and look for 4 or 6 holes in your subframe rails. Half on one side, half on the other. Tell me what you find.

Back end of the car. Each side. To either side of the spare tire well. Open holes drilled in the bottom of the car.

Technically that'* unibody since the only subframe we have is up front holding the motor.

Check your rear light lenses for water leaks as well. Mine were leaking real bad at one point!
