The way I said to do it is what would work best. Pull out the light sensor from the dash and solder in a wire. This will fool the system into thinking there is always daylight so your lights will no longer come on in the dark.

the sensor in the middle of the dash? and how would i go about doing that?

Pull the radio. You should be able to reach it through there.

Nope. I tried using 0 resistance and it didn't work.

Did you use an actual resistor or just a wire?

I used paper clip on my 01 Camaro'* sensor and it worked just fine.

That don't mean it'll work in a Bonneville too. My 2002 Century needed a 4k7 ohm resistor wired in place of the sensor.
