Default KYB rear shock nut (Quick ?...NAPA?)

So I've had KYB rear shocks sitting in my garage for about a year. I opened the one box when I got them and the nut for the top fell out sometime between then and now.
I thought it was the same 24mm nut as the one in the suspension knuckes but the thread pitch is different. The origional bolt for the stock shock also has a different pitch.
If I went to NAPA with the shock, would they have a bolt?
Anywhere else I could check out locally?

I'd give you a spare Monroe, but I sent it to Jwikoff. And it was the same thread as OEM. :?

If NAPA gives you trouble, try emailing Kennginn.

I called up NAPA and they said theres nothing they could do for me.
I called up Pepboys near me they said the same. Tried another Pepboys and said they might be able to match it up. I went to that pepboys and searched through some shock mounting kits and some other things with no luck.
I went to Homedepot since it was close, no luck. Got a leed on a mom & pop hardware store. But got the worst directions ever. Called home and had my mom google map it with no luck..
So I called KYB, they didn't pick up then I just e-mailed them.
Hopefully that will work out.

You won't find it in a hardware store. My bet is KYB only.

Figured I'd post this in case this happens to someone else.
I called KYB agian and got someone'* voicemail.. I left a message but just incase they don't get back to me, I did some investigating.
I wasn't real familliar with nut sizing but an example for a metric nut is:
M16-2.0
The 16 is the diameter in mm and the 2.0 is the thread pitch.
I found a chart for the thread pitch here: http://mdmetric.com/tech/tic1b.htm
Some sites with different size lock nuts(the KYB has a lock nut) are:
http://www.metricspecialties.com/Shop/products.htm
http://coburnmyers.thomasnet.com/cat...tric-fasteners
http://www.boltdepot.com/metric-nuts.aspx (also explains what type of metal to use)
I'm almost positive the diameter is 16mm and I've only seen two options for thread pitch so far (1.5 & 2.0) so hopefully I'll be able to match it up.
I'll do some measuring when I get home.

(Realizing how impatient I am)
So KYB just called me back..
It'* a M16-1.5 nut.
The part number for the nut is S6692.
They said that I should be able to special order the nut from where ever I bought the shock from.
