Default im an idiot.... I left the sunroof vented

Well, I left my sunroof vented on my bonneville last night.. THe metal slide that covers the moonroof.. I guess thats what u call it.. its a metal thing with a handle... The Font of it got wet and thats it.. I didnt have the sunroof all the way open.. If this got wet?? Will it cause the cloth on it to sag at all? again, Just the front 2 inches got wet... And Would excess water in the sunroof cause any harm??? Everything looks ok.. sunroof fine, just a lil damp, but everything works great

I'd say it would if it was a common reoccurence. (sp?) Just once getting wet? I don't think so.

Don't feel bad. I do it alot myself. Only the thunderstorms or continuous rain I would worry about. Other than that, you wouldn;t get any leaks.

lmao...I did a similar thing recently. I was going into a mall for a couple hours and I had the moonroof "up" (you know, not slid open, but with the back tipped up) and forgot to put it down even though it had been dark and threatening rain all day When I came out it had been pouring cats and dogs and the front seats were soaked (thank God for leather seats or it would have been a wet ride home :P ). It did loosen the cloth from the sliding moonroof cover thingy (don't know what you'd call that), but it stays put pretty well and I could always glue it if it becomes a problem.

So, I feel for ya.
