Get on the gas or get off the road.
On my way home tonight I caught up to a newer Integra with a fart can. I've never seen this car on the road I live on so I figure he'* cruising it. Sure enough, like a good ricer, as soon as I creep on him he jams the gas down and all sort of funny noise comes out the muffler.
A little history on the road I live on. The Judson Bottom Road(affectionately known to me as The Gauntlet) is a long twisty road that has several "Watch for fallen rock" signs on it that streches from North Mankato to a little hamlet called Judson . Several people have killed themselves speeding down this road, but in all likelyhood they were also drunk. This road is not for the faint of heart, corners that have a 15mph suggested speed can easily be taken at 3 or 4 times that while staying in your lane. I have about 7 years exp. of driving this road.
So anyway, I decide this punk is not showing me up this night. I slam down the gas, intake roars and I quickly cover ground between us. I think the fastest I got to was upper eighties because I felt the car shift to third. After riding this Integra'* *** he finally put his hazards on and pulled to the side, first smart move of the day probably. I stop beside him roll down the window and ask, "Too fast for ya? Yeah these Bonne'* aren't exactly Corvette'* in the corner either." He just looked ahead without saying anything, but his buddy next to him had a smirk on his face. Wasn't really a kill, more or a humiliation.
