Did you check out its final drive ratio; 2.97. What someone wasn't thinking about running decent 1/4 mile times. I have a 3.06 in my SE. Someone goofed.

All SSEi'* are 2.97 ratio.

That car is a 92, and as stated, the worst track conditions possible. Every 92 or 93 here can beat the pants off that, and GM specifically UNDERSTATES it'* power ratings. I can almost gaurantee every car beat those ratings stock off the showroom floor.

And to top it all off, the 92 and 93 are not identical, however, Pontiac didn't change the LISTED ratings between these years.

Every number in that article is way off, and we all know enough about WHY. driverjohns 'Grandma'* Revenge' is only lightly modded, but 12 years old. He turned a 16.6 in even WORSE conditions at Woodburn with well over 100k on the ticker, busted ELC, street tires, and a blown launch (squealed 'em good).

That spec sheet goes WAY back. It'* absolute tripe. For no other reason than the track conditions.

You can't always take magazine reviews and such as truth. They make a lot of mistakes.
