don't talk smack to a bonny
My friend has a friend who has a 1995 Acura Integra v-tech. And it is very well equipped. CAI, cat back, headers, you name it. And for a very long time now i have had to listen to my friend talk about how he would "destroy me" and i kept saying that although he might win, it would be a very close race. So we set it up the other day, and right off the start it was neck and neck, until about 90, when i pulled about a half car length ahead of him. We stayed this way until about 105, when we saw a car coming (he was going wrong way) and he is a crazy sob, he would not have moved out of the way, so i put on my brakes and let him in front of me, but i still got credit from him for the win, saying that it was the fastest automatic that he'* everseen. And i have a non sc 97 SE, with only a CAI. Bonnevilles are very under rated cars. and i'm glad i have one.

True Car Nut
Good kill...
I totally agree that Bonneville is totally underated vehicles... but in a sense... I don't mind it... it'* cheaper to get into a Bonnie than GA or GP without having to give your left nut for it. Plus you get more. If the Bonneivlle came as popular as the GA / GP.. then they will retain their value better.. but then that would also mean I see them around as much as GA or GP and that would kinda turn me off about the Bonnies...

As soon as I have my Bonnie'* tranny checked out. I will agian be on the trail of ricers and fords. With the 205hp that I have under the hood and futer mods waiting in the wings,(will be changing from drop in K&N to CAI in about six weeks), there won't be many out there who can resist a run agianst a "Granny" car. As it is my GP has to pull the duty right now. But thats no good because they try a lot harder agianst the GP. They're both armed with the same engine. It'* just that I like the sleeper aspect of the Bonnie. Love collecting those few ends from those who underestimate Bonnie'* at play.

Was his car an auto or stick? What other mods does he have.? Give props on the kill, but with his car weighing lighter than ours Im suprised it went in favor of you. Cuz I know that the Hondas & Acura have high end torque thats when then tend to pull after second gear or so.
