Default Reflex Wiper Blades (SUCK HARD)

Reflex Wiper Blades from Canadian Tire ... has anyone used them?

I can not.... get them onto my 97.
I tried for 90mins the other day, they WILL NOT go on.
I had 5 other people helping me, we could not get them to clip on.

I even tried using the little hinge piece from my old winter blades which I just took off, but in the end that caused the Relex blade to get stuck, and I had to break it to get it off.

What a fuc|<ing piece of junk the snap on parts are. The blades themselves look good, but how they mount it a piece of ****.

Has anyone had better luck then me?

Around our parts the parts store will offer to put them on..

Maybe you cruise back over and ask for a little help. Probably one of those things that is tough to see.

Merlin, you have the hook style arms, correct? They should clip right in. I usually order OEM replacement elements from GM partsdirect & load them into the wiper, they are the best imo. I re-use the stainless steel insert strips.

I have no idea what you mean..... got pix?

My wipers on the 97 are the same as my 91.... they have a little 3/4 peg that the wiper goes into.

I have them on my 2003 Malibu, AND my 1990 Bonneville. If you can ever get them installed, they work great. I was changing both cars as a normal preventative maintenance, and seen these, so figured why not.

I do so much driving and HWY speeds that I had to try something better that regular ones. I like them alot. First experience with them was middle of winter, I had them in my car and had not installed them yet. it was freezing rain and my other blades sucked ***. I stopped for gas and had to beat the crap out of the car to get the ice off the fuel door to open it. The car was an ice cube, literally. I installed them out in the cold freezing rain. They were amazing. No problems after that.

Duct tape em on if ya have to, LMFAO.

UPDATE

Ok.... so here'* the bloody problem..... I opened up the package for my smaller blade for the 91....... the two larger blades were both missing pieces in the packages.

ARRRRGGGG!!!!!!!!!

The 19" packages have I think 3 different clamps to clip on..... the larger ones only have one way.

DAMIN IT.......
