Try this, Pat. With over 7000 members, we've never seen a confirmed head gasket failure on this forum in 5 years.

Is that easier to understand?

(3800pro.com is alot more likely to see engines that owners have been into themselves, and retorquing heads on a 3800 is both an art and a science, with a little luck thrown in)

Is this the 03'? How many miles are on it? I'm surprised that the LIM would go bad on such a new car.
