Default Rear Deck Lid Spoiler

Hey Guys--

I'm going to put a rear deck lid spoiler on my newly-acquired 2000 SE. I seem to be one of the few Bonneville'* running around without one. I have found one on eBay that they paint to match with excellent feedback for $149 + $26 shipping. Seems a little steep. Perhaps not.

I'm having trouble finding used. If I could find a used one, do you think it would be much cheaper than the new eBay spoiler once a body shop painted it for me (assuming it will need to be painted)? Of course if I can find a used white one, that would be excellent.

Thanks for your input.

$150 sounds like a great price to me for a stock, painted spoiler that'* brand new. The spoiler itself is near $200 unpainted..

I agree. That'* a smoking deal. Only way you'll beat it is if you get a wrecker unit in the right color or rattle can it yourself.

Looks like a good buy to me, honestly. The only other expense you need to budget for is a shop to mount it for you, or if you're comfortable with doing it yourself, that'll save you even more money. I'd jump all over that if I were you..

If it'* like the 92-99, it'* a snap. The drill locations are very obvious. Just use a little bead of silicone sealer around each hole before you set it down to prevent water leaks in the trunk, unless it comes with the rubber gaskets for each stud.

Yep. Glad I could help. It was down in the eBay Stores section of the search results and I had overlooked it a couple of times.
