The guy at the machine shop will decide whats necessary. We don't know if the block will be bored .030 over or not. He said it might be fine as is, but either way he'* doing the pistons as well. We gave him the new-er block, the original crank (which will be turned .010 under). He'll be doing the main, cam and balance shaft bearings, as well as putting the balance shaft in. Also he'* gonna get the oil pump as well.
Probably be about a month to a month and a 1/2 before It'* done. The guy is slow but he knows what he is doing.
Meanwhile I have the hood vents to finish, reassemble my tails. Once I find something to use on the reflective/chrome on the inside, some of it has flaked/peeled off. Also want to find some clear material to replace the amber in the signal lens. Then Tint
. And I'd like to get around to pulling out the interior and cleaning it up, and do the headliner. And maybe some painting in the engine bay.
