Is this still the original air box with mods? What bennefits? What do you remove from the air box?
Thanks

I'm posting via phone tonight so I can't do a search for you, but I'm pretty sure if you do a search you will find a how to on gutting the airbox. You are essentially gutting everything out of the box and using it as a cai, then I believe most put a large cone filter inside.

This Mod for an SE Bonneville will do nothing for you except let you hear the air flow a little better and think you helped performance. Purely psychosomatic I assure you. The SE gets all the air it needs. You would do better to just get a free'er flowing air filter and even then, a performance gain will only be slight. Don't fall for older threads here or the hype you read in ads. Your throwing your money and time away. Only and if you start modding your engine to need more air, will this help in any way.
