Today went to put the new ball joints on. How do you end up with one wrong bolt in the package.

Finally. New struts, hubs, and axles. Everything else all hooked up.

Put new wheels on it.

Removed the old harness, put up a fight, but we got it out.

Still working on the vacuum lines.

Looking good guys. When do you anticipate firing it up?

A little brake cleaner will take that JY writing off the UIM.

Good Luck Dan I hope you get it going and running smooth!
Too Bad you did not have a rubber snake to add into the harness photo!
I am sure that was no fun getting that replaced.

Doesn't the harness just plug into the fuse block, one other connector to the cabin and then the worst is the rear 02?

One plug on the bottom of the fuse box, then remove the dog bones to pull harness out from under there, unplug trans and ABS, real fun with a turbo in the way. The rest was a cake walk.

Didn't really get much done today, so no pictures. I got the trans cooler lines connected and the trans filled up. Filled the power steering, connected the ground cable and the positive to the alternator. Finished swapping in the new fuel pump. Too a while because I had to change over the wires for the sender unit, not a real big deal. Then lowered the car back to the ground. Finally cleaned up the shop.

Tomorrow just need to do rear struts, and new wheels in back. That'* about all I can do until the new harness arrives. Still have some more vacuum lines to run.

On the sender, it'* it funny how well you get at using a small pick to pull wires out of connectors as modding and time goes on? Bet your a pro at it.

Sounds really good, going to be a real thrill when you guys fire it up. Test drive will be even more fun once it'* tuned and you can get into it.

Might get it started today. Not really looking forward to that because this is where all the little things come together and get in the way.

I love a huge build.. right until the end. You get so much done very quickly and then the little details and minor little crap sucks the life out of a couple days. Seems like it should take an hour, and it takes forever.

Got a big build coming up and it'* the little stuff that I'm dreading.

Putting the harness is took a bit of effort. The alternator plug was different, good thing I had the right one on the shelf. Lost the small starter solenoid bolt, so need to get one. But it might be ready to crank, but I don't think it'* leaving. Also, can't find a MAP plug.
