Yeah but the nice thing is, here you don't need insurance to get into a hospital. You broken they fix you, hehe.
The only time that you really have to pay is if you wan't a private room or certain treatments. But for the most part it is free. Perscription drugs onthe other hand well that'* a different story. They have even given some people exemptions for growing and smoking pot for "medicinal purposes" , so it can't be that bad, LOL

Oregon is a medical marijuana state, but the feds still say it'* illegal. It'll be interesting to see how all this 'hashes' out. Punny. Kinda weird how your med insurance works. I actually have good insurance through hp, thank god, and I can imagine being unemployed and not have any. You guys are lucky. Molson and medical insurance. Molson'* hard to find around here, too!

What should the estimator guy have checked? Should he have done diagnostic work? The guy told my husband (who is very defensive and pissy, saying he checked everything) that for diagnostics the car would have to be taken (by them) to a Pontiac dealership and they would check it out, but the insurance company might not pay for it. That is the way I understand it. I really wish I was the one dealing with these people. I HATE not knowing what'* going on. My husband'* renditions of things is very convoluted. I am absolutely terrified that I am getting screwed here!! No one will talk to me. How can I get in the loop with this insurance company? I should have some sort of say because I am the OWNER of the car!! Am I right, or am I just expelling hot air for no reason? Thanks for letting me rant and rave by the way, I really appreciate it.

Amy, normally an Attorney will tell you to deal with the Car adjuster, and the Attorney will deal with the medical claims adjuster. What I might consider doing at this point, is talking with an Attorney, and having him/her deal with BOTH. Get the heat off yourself. Mine works this way.....everything is handled by my attorney and agent. They handle things and just update me on how it'* going. I got my car fixed very well, without too much trouble, but even that might have been better handled by an Attorney.
Have you consulted one yet?

Nope. I've got an attorney, but haven't consulted him yet. I'm not sure that the cost would be worth it. Not too much needs fixed apparently...I just don't know. I'll call him on Monday and see what he thinks. This should be easier. We weren't at fault in this accident, but we are being treated like we were.
