Them bastards!
I was awoken at 4am this morning to find my sisters car was broken into and her cd player was stolen. We had the police come and they found finger prints, and seens we were she was parking at the mc donalds accross the street from our house during road construction I guess they caught the whole thing on camera, So the police said they will be calling us down in a few days with more information. Luckily I got a used windshield at U-Pull-R-Parts and was able to put it in today, I also picked up some bonne parts while I was at it

Yea, it sucks but her car is all back together now and I just ordered her an alarm. I am a do-it-yourself kind of guy, the last time I had something done not by myself is about two winters ago my starter went out and it was -20F outside.

I had my entire stereo stolen from our parking ramp at work once (subs, amps, deck, etc...). We even got a picture of the guy trying to drive into the ramp thru the secure gate (we didn't let him in).
Unfortunetly, since all we had is a picture, and nothing else, it was almost impossible to track him down. There is still a thread out here somewhere with pics of the suspected perp.

That sucks, luckily my sister only had a pioneer 3500 deck, which I can replace for $100. But it sucked that I had to drive 20 miles to pull the window in pouring rain and I couldnt bring a torch to loosen up the thread lock on the window nuts. The money isnt a big deal for me or my sister because **** happens, but I would really like to see the guy get caught and prosecuted. Also chances are he is a poor bum and would have to work off the money owed at minimum wage doing community service.

I had a stereo system stolen from my car back in 92. I was staying at a motel and came out the next morning to find out I had been ripped off. There are 3 things I can't stand: a thief, a liar, and a cheat! They should be made to listen to Wayne Newton songs as punishment. lol
