Default SilverBullet is Trapped.....

and I can't believe the timing

It happened at exactly the same time as the BonnevilleClub went down.

I had just driven my Bonne and parked it in my garage. The garage has double steelcraft roll up doors. The kind with the wind up spring to counter the weight of the insulated steel 8' x 8' door.
So as I was closing the door, the spring broke and the door came crashing shut. Trapping the Bullet.
It'* still trapped, cause there is no way I can lift that door.
I ordered a new spring. It'* a custom of course and won't be here until the end of this week. :(

Anyone who has this kind of door, make sure you oil the spring with 3 in 1 oil.
Apparantly I never knew that you had to.......but that'* what the tech told me.

At least you didn't lose an eye by a sprung spring

And PLEASE be careful putting the new spring in. I know a guy who lost an eye doing it.

Yes, please do be careful. They can be very dangerous to work on. A guy I used to work with fell off a ladder when he lost his grip tightening the spring. He ended up with a severely cracked skull. Glad to hear that it happened at a relatively safe time.

Be careful working on that spring. A guy I know at work replaced one last year. The spring broke, and snagged his pants leg. He fell off the ladder and was left hanging there while the neighbor'* dog chewed almost all of his scalp away. He'* had 9 skin grafts to his head so far and has just joined the Hair Club for Men.

CALLING ALL BC MEMBERS in the area of bullet! We'll bail him out.

Must be a much larger insulated door than ours, when that happened to use me and my dad struggled, but we could get it open
